DIRECT TO HOME
Privacy notice
Updated October 15, 2026
This notice describes the Direct To Home marketing website. Customer accounts and live communication services may have additional privacy and data-processing arrangements in their service agreement.
Website information
The website provides a phone link and native request forms for demonstrations and website reports. Form submissions are sent through HighLevel External Tracking and create or update a contact in the Direct To Home HighLevel account. The forms may collect your name, business contact details, company, website, team-size range, service area and stated priority. We use this information to respond, qualify the request and prepare relevant recommendations. The website does not include payment checkout. Website hosting, security, HighLevel, and font providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and the resources requested when the site loads.
Website audit
If you request a website check, we send the submitted website address to our server and retrieve its public homepage. We remove the submitted path, query string, and fragment before starting the scan. The destination website receives a request from our scanner, including its network address and identifying user agent. We do not request passwords or account access for an audit. The contact and qualification fields in the website-report form are sent to HighLevel; the scan results themselves are returned to your browser and are not saved by the audit application to a report database. Temporary network identifiers and counters are held in server memory for up to an hour to limit misuse. Your hosting provider may separately retain request and security logs. A report you download is saved on your device. Only scan websites you own, manage, or have permission to assess.
AI visibility check
With your confirmation, we send the city and state or region you enter, together with three standard HVAC questions, to OpenAI for web search. The submitted website domain is matched against the returned companies on our server; it is not included in those AI questions. Do not enter private information in the service-area field. We request that the API response not be stored using store:false; OpenAI may still retain data under its applicable service and abuse-monitoring policies. Public search results may be cached in server memory for one hour. A daily date and request count are saved to enforce the scan allowance, without your website address, service area, or report. We do not save audit reports to a database. Search results vary and are not an official search-engine or ChatGPT ranking.
Homepage screenshots and visual review
With your confirmation, the normalized public homepage URL is sent to Microlink to capture desktop and mobile views. Microlink receives that URL and the server network address, may cache the captured public content, and applies its own retention policies. The captured images load from its image hosts, which also receive your browser network address. Public homepage content, extracted HTML observations, screenshots and viewport labels are sent to OpenAI for a website and visual assessment. Contact form answers are excluded from that request. We hold capture links, short-lived capture tokens and visual findings in server memory for up to an hour; providers may retain them separately. We do not send passwords, logged-in pages or private URL parameters. Only scan a public homepage you have permission to assess. The optional customer-journey answers and revenue calculator inputs stay in the current browser page and are not submitted to our server, OpenAI or a CRM.
Google Maps reviews
For demos without usable company-site reviews, when the Google reviews section becomes visible on a company demo, our server sends the public company name and location, or its listing ID, to Google Places to verify the listing and retrieve current reviews. Google receives the request and our server network information. Loading reviewer avatars also sends your browser network information to Google. Our review connector stores listing identifiers, website-domain match status and usage counters, not Google rating or review content in our database. Google handles information under the Google Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this notice for those features.
Cookies and tracking
HighLevel External Tracking handles our website forms. HighLevel and our hosting provider may use cookies or similar technologies and receive IP address, browser information and page requests to operate and secure the site. We do not add advertising pixels. The optional chat service may use browser storage as described above. You can control cookies in your browser, though blocking them may affect website forms.
Data security
Our website uses HTTPS to protect information in transit. Form submissions are handled by HighLevel and hosting systems with access controls. We limit access to submitted contact information to people and service providers who need it to respond to your request or operate the service. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.
Audio and browser features
The recorded test call is provided as an audio file with a readable transcript. Playback uses your browser’s standard media features. Searches and filters run within the page and do not submit a contact request. Animation preferences last only for the current page. This website does not add advertising pixels. HighLevel chat may use browser storage to maintain your conversation.
Calling the demo-booking line
The AI receptionist may collect the contact and scheduling details you provide to arrange a demonstration. Any recording notice and relevant choices should be provided at the start of the call. The intended setup uses HighLevel and Google Calendar to process the contact and scheduling information needed for that request; live connections must be verified before bookings begin. Do not share sensitive customer records in a general demonstration call.
AI website chat
When you choose Start AI chat, the site loads the HighLevel chat service. Your messages, chat identifiers and any contact details you provide are processed by HighLevel and its AI model provider and saved in our CRM so we can respond to your inquiry. HighLevel may use cookies or browser storage to maintain the conversation. Avoid sharing payment details, passwords or sensitive personal information. AI replies can be inaccurate; confirm service scope and appointment details with our team. Starting chat is not consent to receive text messages. You can close the widget or contact us by phone or through the demo-request form instead.
Text-message consent
Direct To Home LLC offers separate, optional choices for marketing and non-marketing text messages. The marketing choice covers our HVAC lead capture and follow-up services, demo invitations, and related offers. The non-marketing choice covers your specific demo or website-report request, including responses, scheduling confirmations, reminders, and updates. You may select either, both, or neither; consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance, or call (217) 866-0999. We retain consent and opt-out records as needed to operate the service and comply with applicable requirements. We do not share mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes; service providers may process it solely to deliver our messages.
Use and retention
Information supplied for a demonstration is used to respond, schedule the requested conversation, understand the requested service, and administer the resulting business relationship. Account agreements describe any additional processing and retention arrangements for a live customer deployment.
Privacy requests
Existing customers should use the support channel stated in their service agreement for access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions. Public demo-booking contact details are available on the booking page.
Optional website analytics
If you allow optional analytics, we use Google Analytics to understand selected public marketing page visits and interactions with demo links, phone links, the demo-request form and the website-report form. A phone click does not confirm a completed call, and a form attempt does not confirm receipt in our CRM. Analytics may use cookies and receive technical data such as browser and device information, sessions and engagement. We do not send your form answers to Analytics. Page addresses in our events omit query strings and fragments; referral addresses are reduced to their origin, without paths, query strings or fragments. This setup pauses Analytics when the app leaves recognized public routes or when you withdraw permission. Analytics is separate from the HighLevel form handling described above. You can allow, decline or change optional analytics through Analytics preferences. We do not enable Google Signals or advertising personalization in this setup. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Website report sessions
The initial homepage check reads public website HTML without calling our screenshot or AI providers. The full review requires the contact form and the separate scan and AI permissions. Your public homepage report and a short-lived scan token may be kept in session storage for up to 30 minutes so you can return to the check in this tab. Contact details are not saved in that browser storage or sent to our AI review providers. Our server holds the public report and session token temporarily in memory. A server restart can expire a scan. If you choose to load a booking calendar, your entered name, email and phone may be sent to HighLevel to prefill that form. Loading a calendar does not book an appointment.
